Is the OnePlus 5T really that good?

I found it on a list of best smartphones in a certain price range (here), and it seems to perform better than almost any other phone..

Is the Oneplus really that good, and is it worth the price? Is it one of the best phones in the market?

I've got the regular One Plus 5 and I find it superior to most of the carrier's stuff. I've rooted every Samsung and Google phone I've owned. LG and HTC would probably get the same treatment. Moto XPRE wasn't bad, but security updates were slow. I have no need of all the extras put on the phone. I resent the space they take up.The One Plus isn't slow at all. It's also easy to get rid of or disable all extraneous apps.

Although I only used my 5t for a few months due to GSM network coverage, it was probably one of the best new phone experience I've had.
