Is there a 4.4 rom out with WiFi calling? (T-Mobile)

I'm currently running Vanir 4.4.3 on my sgh-t999 but as I'm currently on the $30 plan, not having WiFi calling kind of sucks.. I've looked around a bit and I couldn't manage to locate a Kitkat rom with WiFi calling but just in case I missed one, does anyone know of one?

Also random question.. Anyone know how to get notifications on your lockscreen when people text you?

Thanks.

You can wifi call with Google Voice and Groove IP. There are other apps out there that probably work better too. Hopefully a few more members will chime in and say something. The reason know about Google Voice /Groove IP is because I had to use it with a phone had that got terrible reception. I only used it to make calls not receive them .

As for getting notifications on your lock screen, some ROMS have the option and others do not. There are apps on Play that allow it. Widget Locker is one of them. Pretty sure Xposed Framework has a module that does it. Wanam may even have the setting . I don't use it but I've had ROMS in the past that did it.

Biker, Google Voice has killed the ability to VoIP :( ... But there are several VoIP suppliers that offer the service for a nominial fee. Google is the OPs friend

Thanks biker I'll look into the widgets for notifications. As for the WiFi calling do those services offer the ability to use my cell number as the number that's calling? Or are they gonna give me a random number that nobody will know? Thanks for the help guys :)

I was using Google Voice until Google stopped supporting VoIP so I can't help with the calling number question. But my guess is they will assign you a new number.

Yeah I looked into it and there was a way to use my cell number, but it said something about porting it from my carrier which I obviously don't want to do haha. I don't really have any issues with not having WiFi calling available except that I only get 100 talking minutes each month. If I go get the $50 plan I'd have unlimited and wouldn't mind it.

I found go locker, which gave me notifications like I wanted but when I listen to music it doesn't have any feature that let's me change the music, or maybe it does.. It just couldn't find it. Lol. I love on Kitkat that you wallpaper changes to the cover art. It's a nice touch
