Is there a Moderator for the Chat?

I ask because there needs to be if there isn't. I understand it's a chat, but there ought to be some standards in place. People are being directed to the IRC for information and assistance, and are instead being bombarded with conversation more suitable to a porn site. I'm not a prude, and I'm not thin-skinned in general, but sometimes it gets pretty disgusting, particularly in the evenings. There are only a few people that cause it to be that way, but because there is no moderation, it causes others of us to log out in frustration and disgust.

It would be an interesting experiment, to have a Moderated irc room for AF (perhaps it's already been tried, I don't know).

There are a lot of alternatives to Moderated rooms, but I do have to say that the free irc chat is the best for info on the fly; things happen quickly in the free rooms, especially requests for download links, etc.

The price for that is a bit of blue language, etc, I just scroll past that (it scrolls away pretty fast anyway, being real time chat ).

Really? I've never experienced that when I go on the AF/Phandroid chat section on random nights. Every time I go on, I feel that it's very technical with people asking questions on rooting issues they are currently having. There was always someone informative there that will try to guide the users having issues. I usually go on at night, when I'm 'done' moderating here and have a few minutes before bed.
I usually talk about Android phones when I'm on. See what phones people are using and how they like it and Android in general. Though I only go on a few times a month and last time I was on was in October. So I guess it has really changed since then.
