Is there a music app...

...that will allow me to sync with my iTunes library (including playlists), and only sync the songs that I have checked in it? TIA! :)

Try the free app called DoubleTwist.
If you wish to sync wireless, then try DoubleTwist AirSync (paid app).

I had downloaded DoubleTwist, but I couldn't find the option to sync only the checked songs and it was definitely syncing everything (as well as duplicates from WMP - I forgot to mention that I'd like not syncing duplicates to be an option too). I'm looking at iSyncr right now; as soon as I'm done moving stuff from our old refrigerator to our new one I'm going to try that! :)

Does DoubleTwist automatically sync everything on your iTunes or can I just transfer over a few artists I want? I have 30 gigs of music but dont need all that on my phone.

thanks.

Playlists would fix this for you...
I have a playlist in iTunes called; "Thunderbolt" - it has all of the music I want to sync with my phone

iSyncr (2.99) and the iSyncr Wifi (0.99) add on work for me. I can sync wirelessly from anywhere and only sync what I have checked in the playlists I want. Definitely recommend.

Plus it has a music widget that allows you to rate as you go and these ratings and playcounts get synced back to your computer.
