Is there a sound app that does the following?

I work security at night and I am just enquiring if there is a app that does the following?

We have a switch board and when a alarm goes off it notifies you with a small and not very loud "bing". Is there a app that records the "small bing".It then picks up on the small "bing" and then makes the phone ring with a continuous loud ringing noise that continues to go off until you acknowledge it. Our switich board has 3 different "small bing" noises for different alarms types. It would be great if you could record 3+ "small bings" at a time and if the app picks up on one of these "small bings" then the phone continually goes off with a loud continuous ringing until acknowledged. The app also needs to pick up the "small bing" with in seconds and the loud ringing noise start near instantly.

If there are apps like Shazam and Soundhound picking up music then surely this could work with 1 or more prerecorded sounds.

I think many people would use this app.

Cheers, your help would be appreciated.

You can just use the sound recorder built into the phone or download a sound recorder from the market. Record that sound, then use some kind of audio editing program on your computer to loop that sound for 30 seconds to use as a ringer.

I doubt it.
Your phone's mic would need to be always on, and the app would have to be trained to recognize particular frequencies and ignore all others.
The biggest hurdle would be the battery drain associated with having the mic on and the app processing sounds, for hours at a time.

Google makes an App Inventor where you could take a crack at it.

Battery drain wouldn't bother me as i would have it on charge. The app is mainly for at 4-5am in the morning if I am getting a little heavy eyed and may miss a small beep. I think there would be many night workers in this situation.
