Help Is there a way of linking phone & browser brightness?

As the automatic brightness setting on the phone is a bit crap, I prefer to adjust the brightness level myself depending on where I am...

I don't mind doing this, but it's a bit of a pain having to do it twice - once for the phone setting, and again when in the browser. Is there any way of linking the two, so I only have to make one adjustment?

I think if you go to the browser press meny and scroll down to Brightness and colours you can just chgoose Default or untick the Automatic Browser. I think the Default option just leaves you with the default phone brightness although you will have to go to the Power saving settings in Settings and untick the "Background Colour" option so it doesnt dim it all the time

It will only dim if the phones in power saving mode, Had the same issue and realised when power saving was off, The screen stayed bright.

I use lux (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vito.lux&hl=en). I've linked it a lot, so now my phone adjusts the brightness exactly the way I like (and have trained it). Add it as a shortcut to swipepad, and it's even faster to get to the widget.

Just need to change the brightness settings in the browser and turn off auto brightness.
