Is there a way to ignore a poster here on the forums?

Sorry I didn't know where to put this question.

I am wondering if there is a way to ignore a user completely so that I no longer see there posts etc??

Is there an option aka something to click in order to do this??

if someone is bothering or harrassing you just hit the report button in the post that they did.
i don't think you can block someone, might be wrong though?
 
Well I was hoping to avoid the whole reporting thing and just find a way to just ignore their posts all together within a thread.

A lot of forums have an ignore feature where you can simply click something (their name and then ignore etc.).

Maybe this forum doesn't have that option ?

Yes. Report them.

The issue will be dealt with swiftly :D this is a family friendly/community feel type of place and we need to keep it that way for everyone


You can feel free to pm any guide or mod and we will make sure one of the higher ups see it.
 
There is an ignore option. Go to your User Control Panel (UserCP at the top left) and under the header "Settings & Options" select "Edit Ignore List". You can add the username there.

You can also report anything you feel goes against the Site Rules/Guidelines , and we will look into it. If there is something offensive or it otherwise breaks the rules please let us know, we don't want that sort of stuff around here. :)


Use whatever option you feel is better for you. :)

i was just wondering?, was this a joke? or directed to me personally??? because people would just ignore people rather than thank them like in the 2nd post. and she hasn't taken back the friendship on friends list???

For my part it was a joke since you posted after someone showed her how to ignore someone, but who knows may she was ignoring someone that posted in here. If I were in her shoes, I'd probably ignore everyone that's posted in this thread just to be safe, including moderators and guides....

ok cool, sorry, if it had a (lol) at the end would have been noticed more as a joke though.
