Is there a way to pause music while phone is in pocket?

I listen to a lot of books on my mp3 player, and am trying to figure out if there is a simple way to pause my books, without taking the phone out of my pocket? IE map a physical button to pause, when music is playing? Anyone know of a way to accomplish this? thks

Are you using headphones? The one that comes with the S3 has a button on it, just press on it once and it should pause whatever track your are listening to.
