I want a full size 8.5" x 11" folio notepad kind of binder with pockets or paper notepad or clipboard or something on one side, and a holder for an android tablet on the other side. I have seen something like this that is the tablet size, but... I do "old school" pen and paper work, too, sometimes, and so want something that can hold both.

I have not seen one in the market. But yeah, I ....like you...use both tablet and pen and pad as i use a portfolio with a pen, pad, pockets etc for work. I am in sales and i use my tablet for work as well as i use it to show my customers new products. The tablet is perfect for sales presentations as it is ultra portable and efficient. That being said....I use a portfolio that has a zipper that runs around the outside edge and it holds my entire mobile office inside,,,,including my 10 inch tablet

What product do you use? Where did you get it? How do you secure the tablet to the portfolio?

I'm not sure of the brand as the portfolio is in my car. I got it from Office Depot. I think you are misunderstanding me though. It does not secure the tablet in place ...would be too awkward for me to hold and show customers if it were stuck in the big clumsy portfolio stuffed with papers and pens etc.... Like i said , the zipper on the outer edge holds everything together inside in my travels. They can be purchased at any office supply store such as Staples etc....
