I referring to one that can use the internal fm radio hardware.

I cannot use that in my country. The apps need to use online conectivity.

That would be specific to the harware in your phone, there may be something on the phone manufacturer's website. Usually if a phone has FM hardware on board, there's an app pre installed. My HTC, HomTom, Doogee phones (and others including Motorola and Sony) have all had an OEM installed FM radio app.

Next Radio is the only app I've seen or heard of as an alternative to using an OEM app.

I have it on all my phones that don't have an OEM app but has an FM radio chip.

I suspected it was a proprietary interface, since they are all using different apps.
