is there an app for droid that disables letter popup in stock keyboard

I don't know if this really answers your question but there is a new key board out called swype. Instead of typing you "swype" your finger / thumb across keys to type. Ive used it and and it works well on Droid. Takes a bit of getting use to. Nice looking layout and you can "type" if you choose.

yes, thank you for the recommendation. oI do use swype, however out frustrates me at times with smaller words and it is god awful at tap typing. thx
