Is there an app for scanning the Stars?

Hey I'm looking for an app to scan the sky and get a map of the stars. I know there is one for iPhone, but is there one for android?

I dont know any app that "scans the stars" but i use one that uses the compass and gps to determine where you are pointing your phone at and displays the stars for that particular sky portion. It is called Sky Chart.

A "scan" is basically a picture... hold your camera up and take a picture! Unless you're trying to scan for Humphrey Bogart or some other "star"... he might be up there somewhere...
