Is there an app that does this?

Is there an app out there that will let me see what exactly an asp is connecting to when it uses a network connection?

Basically I want a network firewall that can at least log connections made, or preferably notify me of connection attempts before they're made so I can choose to allow or deny the attempt.

The reason I'm seeking this, is there is an app I just downloaded and it requires the login info for the site that it makes usable on android devices. While I have no particular reason to suspect the app of phishing, I am being very (possibly overly) cautious.

Your tinfoil hat has a hole in it.

Seriously you sound a little paranoid. What is the app that you're referring to?

The app is called "quest forever". It pulls data off the eq2players website (for the game everquest 2). One feature, that lets you use the guild chat feature of the website requires your login info to use (the website itself requires you to be logged in).

It's not paranoid to be cautious when such information can result in charges to your credit card, and can mean hundreds of dollars to someone who would want to steal account info (selling accounts or the assets of a character is a surprisingly big business). So yeah, I'm very carefu about where such info gets entered, especially with this being a third party app (not made by SOE).

It seems to be a legit app after poking around Androlib comments and 5 minutes on google.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

Even tho the app from the OP may be legit, I'm curious to know if there is an app like that. More-so out of curiosity, I guess.
