Is there an app the REALLY has free mp3 ringtones?

I just switched my daughter to my old incredible (got the Thunderbolt!). She is not techy at all. There is no way she can do the ringdroid thing and make her own ring tones. Is there an app the really has free mp3 ringtones? The ones she tried all say free, only to then require payment when you click on it. Thanks for your advice!

Ok honestly your not going to find an app that is free and even the ones that I paid for (bought two of them) I wasnt happy with at all. The best bet is to Free Ringtones for mobile and iPhone - Audiko and upload your song here clip it to the spot of where you want it and customize your ringtone and have it sent to your phone. I do it all the time and I love it. Also you can search ringtones already made by people and download theirs if you want. The great thing is the ringtone maker program they have is online, free, and easy to use. And the ringtones can be made very short to 5 seconds to about 30 seconds if you want. Some can go longer if downloaded in a specific format when you have chosen where to send your songs.

Actually after doing some digging just now I found out audiko has an app for that on the market just search it and it should be the only one able to download and plus its free

I just tried that. After I do the ringtone, it sends me to motime which wants $9.95 a month! What am I doing wrong?

After you make ringtone. There should be a refresh on your page. To download iPhone version or just mp3. Click the mp3 (since this is for droid) and it should start up automatic download.

It should look like this once you made ringtone. The left side of the song is two little icons one for iphone and one for mp3. download mp3 and then transfer the ringtone to your phone by connecting it to your pc and enabling usb mass storage

DEathVash...THANKS so much. Both suggestions worked.....made my daughter happy...THANKS! I tried zedge yesterday but it did not have any current songs that she wanted.

I use Gtunes; it lets you download music from public sources and has the ability to set songs as ringtones. Been using it for about 6 months and haven't noticed any problems or malicious activities.
Edit: I just checked and it is no longer in the market. If you want, I will upload an apk of it to my dropbox account and you can download it.

Your welcome and dont be afraid to message me sometime if any other questions. and drdoom can you check out my started threads. i need help on some things i feel like you might know. please check it out

Are these free ringtone apps legal? I hate to sound legalistic, but I don't want to use anything that isn't really legal, and given the amount of piracy out there, it's hard not to be suspicious.
