Hi,
I don't think this particular question was previously addressed, forgive me if I missed it.
I need to be able to automatically set my roaming preference from "Auto" to "Sprint Only" on my Evo running stock 2.2 based on my location- I am using an Airave femtocell at home due to extremely poor coverage and there is just enough of a VZW tower nearby to cause my phone to keep trying to get one bar of reception OTA instead of 5 bars from the Airave.
I have fairly good results when I remember to switch roaming off but it is a pain to find that my calls drop at home because I forgot to turn roaming off, or that I have a hard time making calls when I am away from home because I can't roam until I remember to turn it back on.
I have been looking at Tasker, LocationBot, Locale, etc. but so far none of them seem to have this particular base covered. From what I can tell I can set up various functions based on a roaming condition, for example, but I can't create a roaming context based on a GPS condition.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Matt
