Is there an app to control Android music player from a remote?

I have a Droid X and I often have my Droid plugged in to a stereo system to play music. I was wondering if there was an app that would allow me to use my stereo's remote control to control the music player on my Droid. In other words I want to be able to sit on my couch, pick up my remote control, and use that to pause/skip songs/press play on my Droid. Is there an app for that?

No but the RedEye mini will allow you to do it for about 30 bucks. Google it.
