is there an App to see current processes like in windows?

ndondo

Lurker
Is there such way??
I mean not the amount of time an app uses the CPU
but a real time view of which app is chewing up the CPU at any given time...

Thank you

Menu-settings-applications.

Or if you prefer an app, System Panel, it also does monitoring as well.

Keep in mind though, not everything you see in there is "running". Windows and android are two completely different operating systems. Android caches most of its programs, so you will see a lot of apps there, but rest assured not all of them are running and eating your battery. Also dont use a task killer to kill these apps.

Thanks That's what I thought :)

How to find what caused my LG optimus one (tmobile) sometimes becomes really laggy, slow and sometimes freeze all together. I have to press and hold the power button until it resets or pull the battery.

I am glad you clarify about task killer too. Everywhere I see advance task killer is a popular app. But I don't find it usefull at all. so I remove task killer

I just wish there is an app that sort off simulates a battery pull or system restart .. but quicker
So every time my phone slowing down I just do a restart ... Power off power on takes too long for my liking :)

Concerning your wish for a app that mimics a battery pull or restart there is a app called 'fast restart' that you can download and basically does the same thing as restarting your phone.

If your phone is constantly requiring a reboot, you might need to to a factory reset. This will clear up any software bugs that may be causing this.
