Is there an easy way to wirelessly sync music to my phone?

I've been using iTunes to manage my media. I'm not a huge fan of it because it's big and bloated. I can use TuneSync and it syncs my music to my phone over wifi with no issues at all. It's a beautiful thing.

I want to get away from iTunes though because it's so bloated. I downloaded WinAmp and tried to configure it, but can't get it work reliably. It will not see my Phone for the life of me. I can plug in a cable and sync with no problems, but it will not see my phone. It will see my NC over wifi, but when I try to sync it tries to sync to the internal memory which doesn't have enough space and completely ignores my 32 gb SD card. It seems obvious to me that this solution is just not going to work.

Are there any free solutions out there that will let me sync my media library with my phone and NC? TuneSync with iTunes just works, but like I said, I'd like to find a less bloated solution. It would be nice to initiate the transfer from the device as well like I can with TuneSync. Winamp requires I initiate the sync from my computer.

Have you tried doubleTwist? it seems pretty popular. It has some airsync feature that's supposed to work well. I dont use it though so take all that as second hand advice, maybe search the forums for doubletwist and airsync or something.

What is NC?

Alternatively, MyPhoneExplorer can do the wireless sync. Just specify which folders you want on PC and which ones on SD card.

I've been using DoubleTwist wi-fi sync it works pretty well. You need to have the DoubleTwist program on your computer.

I ended up going with Doubletwist. I had to screw with the settings on my computer to keep Doubletwist from scanning my entire freaking computer and rebuilding my library from scratch every time I started it. I have no clue why it's set that way by default. It's like by default it's not supposed to be a music management program, it's supposed to be a front end for iTunes, but it has the capability to be a stand alone program if you really want it to. It does work quite nicely though.

I tried out WinAmp and it sucked hard. I cannot recommend it at all. Apparently when it's scanning your network for your device, it scans the first LAN adapter it finds and stops there. I run a couple of VMs on my machine. I also have a VPN that may or may not be open. Win Amp can't seem to determine which of these is my local adapter. I have to disable all of them except for one to force WinAmp to see it. It's complete BS since apparently it's had this issue ever since the beta version and there are tons of posts about it all over the WinAmp site. Yet, none of it's competitors have this problem so it can't be that hard to fix. Fail for WinAmp and an epic fail at that. How can you not fix a known issue when it's a huge bug that separates you from your competitors? Epic fail.

That is one of the reasons I don't use any sync applications - they require you to install an extra app on PC, go on indexing the things you don't want, may accidentally mess up your files, etc...

A simple drag and drop does the job for me. It is simple, safe and offer a full control.
