is there any differnce in chargers and data cables on android phones

in the last 18 months i've had 3 phones broken 1 and recyled the other im now left with a samsung galaxy apolo .The previous where a vodafone 845 and sony x10 . So im know left with 3 chargers and data cales will the Samsung wirk on a sony charger . I know their all mini usb but wonderd if there was a differnce inside , so to speak .

Yes. A data/USB charger cable allows you to both charge and transfer data. A charger cable only allows you to charge. No data transfer.

while there might be a difference in voltage or current difference for the chargers, there should be no difference for the data cables. Even if there are differences for the chargers, they stand a good chance of working.

from experience i bought some charger on ebay for cheap and it says motorola on it and it takes forever to charge my htc vs the oem charger

slower charge is usually due to the power output of the charger. ie. power = voltage x current

usually nowadays, all the chargers pretty much shares the same voltage, thus what's left is the current. If the rated current is high, usually charge will be fast.

the oem usb cable is different too for watever reason. the extra cable i have wont work with the oem charger

Several years ago the Mobile Phone industry agreed to standardise on the MicroUSB connector for all phone charging.
