didn't you already post up this question in another thread??
sure seems like it, as I answered that question a few minutes ago.
but, just in case, I have old senior's disease, here it is:
Samsung phones are picky about what charger module is available, and also what quality of charging cable you are trying to use.
For me, it seems like only the OEM Samsung 2.1 amp "white colored" charger module will work.
and, I have noticed that old cables quit working, and also, that only high quality cables will work.
I have had to throw away older cables that "used to work" and buy a new one.
Also, a cable that came with a lesser quality charger, IE, one that is rated at only 1.0 amp, or 0.5 amp will not work. The reason for this is, the wires inside the cable are too small to carry the current.
I have also noticed that cables that do not have a Gold Plated connector won't work.
Hope this helps.
