Is this a dead forum? What about marshmallow?

Anyone think this device will see marshmallow? It runs so smoothly to be a low end device. I'm coming over form a galaxy s6 edge, I prefer the stock android look over touch wiz. So far this is like a low end nexus. Where's the development? Any forums alive and well for this phone?

Haven't found any support yet. This phone has only been out a month or so on metro PCS, T-Mobile gets it this month sobimnsure more development will start. I've been tempted to try some of the tools used for the Idol 3 , the build description of this phone is built from the Pop355 build. But I've already bricked 2 so I'll wait.........somewhat patiently.

I'll say this is around a mid range phone seeing as it's one of the few 16/2 phones MetroPCS sells.

You gonna have to wait a couple months before anybody works on roms or updates for this phone but alcatel isn't really popular so updates aren't being made like that.

I disagree with the "its like a low end Nexus device"

This thing looks more the like a low end apple knockoff in terms of ui design. Lots of apple like appearance. More so than nexus devices which run stock android.

I have the alcatel one touch fierce xl and the lg g stylo.

Both are very comparable overall. I do like the ui on the stylo better. Its closer to stock than this is.

But the stylo i received was defective and Im still waiting on a replacement.

I got the fierce xl on Friday. I noticed today that sometimes google music app causes system ui to crash and a reboot once.
.other than that im pleased with it as my second device

What about a recovery?

I'd love to root but without a custom recovery I wouldn't enjoy it.

Sucks that I don't see lots of interest in this phone. It's a second device for me (I also own a lg g stylo which I use currently.... it's activated on mpcs)

I like the stylo more but this is a very underrated device especially for 70 dollars. Plus I like that it comes with swype keyboard. I missed that since my lg motion dayslol
