The truth about Google+: The social network without passion | The Industry Standard - InfoWorld
I haven't joined. I am antisocial. Anything I post on Twitter sounds more like Thoreau rather than personal.
If Google could get devs to put home pages over there for customer service, I might be interested. Most seem to be on Facebook.
The only rant I would have, I don't believe in putting all my eggs in one basket. For years on Windows, I never used IE. I won't use the native browser on the phone. I get mail through Thunderbird and never look at the Mail home page. I don't use Google docs. I don't use Picasa, I quit Blogger.
The only reason for this, if too much info gets collected, then a search engine in particular will only give me the results it thinks are pertinent which aren't always the ones I want.
