I personally don't think that site has much merit. I get the impression it was written by someone who was a) not familiar with Android phones, and b) has an antiquated knowledge of batteries in general.
One example is the claim that deleting the batterystats.bin file will help to re-calibrate the battery. There's no mention one first needs to successfully root their phone to accomplish this, and despite the claim that '...some experts are pretty sure...' this is a valid thing to try. First even the wording is vague and lacking substance -- 'pretty sure', Really??? Pretty sure or they are sure. Second there's also evidence it's simply bogus, as it's apparently based on a misconception that li-ion batteries are the same as ni-cads: https://www.xda-developers.com/goog...-battery-stats-does-not-improve-battery-life/
There's more items to point out as dodgy but honestly I don't find it worth the bother.
