Is this low end phone worth buying ?

My budget is very low and this is the only android phone that fits in my budget.

Looking at your needs, I think that device should be fine. My phone, the Desire HD, has ran ICS with a single core processor and handled it fine with minimal lag. So I'd assume you'd be fine too.

Not sure what country you are in, but here where I am, the difference in price of an S Duos and an S3mini is just equivalent to $50. You lose the dual SIM capability, but you get an AMOLED screen, 1gb RAM, a dual core CPU, and a better graphics chip.

Unless you need the dual SIM capability, I'd suggest you check that out.

Where i live S3 mini is twice the price of S Duos.However there is this one phone which is very close to price of S Duos and its called S Advance.What do you think about it?

Its pretty much the same as the S3 mini, except that it's a year older, so you'll only get probably up to the 4.1.2 update and not newer. The minu gets released with that Android version. If I remember correctly, the CPU speed is about the same, but it's using a different graphics chip. The S3mini uses the same GPU as the S3 but clocked lower.

Update: just checked the specs and they appear to be the same phone, almost. However, the Advance has only 2GB internal memory and 756MB RAM, whereas the S3mini has 8GB internal and 1GB RAM. Basically, you can install fewer apps on the Advance than the Mini, but performance should be nearly the same. No big games like asphalt though, since too little space
