Is this malware on my phone?

Hi

This “Apple TV” player (see pic) has popped up on my screen after I was in an airport lounge the other day and I’m sure I never downloaded it.

(I don’t have Apple TV so would never have requested it).

Because it doesn’t seem to be an app, I can’t go into settings and find it and delete it.

Any idea what it is and how I can get rid of it?

Although it says Apple TV now it said something like Samsung Player for Cathay (as I was in the Cathay Pacific Lounge) before.

Thanks in advance for help in suggestions to get rid of it.

It looks like the peel remote app. If you never use the app, i suggest you disable it. Go to settings/apps/peel remote/disable. You can always enable it later if you want

Unfortunately the Peel remote app is part of the junk Samsung throw on your phone when adding their bloatware to the Operating System. Phil
