Is this normal? SMS attachments

Hi All,

Today, tried attaching an HTM file to a text message and found no way to do it? I had options for pictures, movies, and a couple others, but no way to attach (any) file. My thought was to rename the extension to jpg, send it, and ask the recipient to rename it. Finally ended up sending it regular email via computer...

So, can any "other" filetypes be attached? I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong...

Hi Russ,

Attaching something to a text message turns it into an MMS. I have to assume (since I never send them), that only images/audio are supported attachment types, but perhaps someone more knowledgeable can help us out here.

I personally would give up and send an E-Mail instead.

Perhaps so, I could find no way to attach a "general" file. E-mail it was...

MMS can attach videos, pictures and sound clips, that's it. Documents you'll have to email or use an IM.
