So called Metro, just disconnected the phone, and the rep tells me they can't brick the phone unless I had insurance.. WTW?! I know with another company that wasn't the case. So either way, disconnected until I get another phone or not, once I switch my number over that person can then activate my phone?! So that's a way of forcing insurance on a customer. I need advice on what to do. I can understand not getting another phone because of no insurance, but to not be able to brick it is a sure way to not keep a customer. Besides even with insurance, don't you still have to pay for a phone partly?
