Help Is unlocking easy enough?

Hi all!
I'm new here, my first post and first android mobile. The mini pro arrives in the post tomorrow and it will be locked to the O2 network, I hope to use it on giffgaf as it is much cheaper on PAYG.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how best to get the phone unlocked.

Sorry for the really late reply and you might have the phone already but most of the time the providers sell the phone both ways, under a contract or unlock. On the latter they ask you to pay the full price of the phone. I'd suggest to contact them (this is assuming you don't have the phone already) and confirm if they offer this option.
