Hello there ι'm new here and also new to android. Please forgive me if am posting to a wrong section!Yesterday i rooted my vodafone joy 845 and i would like to move my apps to the sd card! After a lot of search i found that i have to upgrade to 2.2(i'm currently on 2.1) So is it safe and possible to upgrade a rooted phone? If not what should i do?Please let me know someone!

If it's like the D2 you can update while rooted, it will just remove root.
You can't update if you have removed, renamed, or frozen any of the pre-installed apps.

#if you google it the answer seems to be no.

But isn't it possible to install a 2.2 rom? From a little search i made there are at least two roms for my device with 2.2 according to the xda-developers!So doesn't that mean that i will have Froyo if install one of those roms?
