Hi,
I am using "TATA Photon plus" USB data card (CDMA) to get the broadband connection to my LAPTOP (Sony Vaio running on Windows 7). I am trying to use my laptop as wifi router so that I can connect my nexus 10 and nexus 4 to same internet connection. I came to know that Android is not supporting the Ad-hoc wifi connection and it can read only WPA2 connection.
I installed "Connectify Hotspot" software in my laptop for sharing TATA PHOTON+ broadband connection. The wifi connection is getting recognized by Nexus10 but it is hanged at "authenticating" and "Obtain IP address". I gave manual ip address in my Nexus 10 . Now it showed "connected" but no Internet connection. .. In Connectify hotspot, Nexus10 is still showing "connecting".
Please help me with workaround or if i am missing any step.
