Issue on stereo sound in Landscape orientation

JoLe

It is said that the P9 Plus will produce a stereo sound when it is in landscape position. However, I find that the sound pressure from the earpiece speaker is softer than the speaker from the phone bottom edge. Also, it is noticed that the loudness of the stereo sound produced in landscape position is much lower than the loudness of the mono sound produced when the phone is in portrait position.

Please advise if there is any adjustment that can correct the stereo sound output.

Sounds like the speakers themselves are unequal. I know with devices that actually have equal speakers at top and bottom, such as some HTCs, the stereo is balanced and is effective at close distance.

Although the bottom speaker opening is almost double the size of the top one, I still expect that volume between the 2 speakers would be balanced after rotation. I am not sure if there is any manual adjustment required to balance the speakers. I hope that Huawei Support will have the answer.
