Plug the TV directly into the wall, not a power strip shared with other electrical devices.

If that doesn't do the trick, simultaneously hold down two buttons for a few seconds. Hold down the power and home button on the side (the top and buttom buttons) of the tv for a few seconds. It may be a software problem and holding down the two buttons resets the software.
