Help Issue with unlocked G2

Hi,

I'm having a bit of an issue with this that is puzzling me.

I've got a T Mobile (uk) G2, and had it SIM unlocked and put a 3 SIM card in it.

The phone works with the SIM, I can make calls and send texts and stuff, but by the signal strength indicator, it's displaying an "R" which I believe to mean that it's roaming. This is puzzling me because it is saying that it is connected to the 3 network! How can it be roaming when it is connected to 3 with a 3 SIM card? It's a PAYG SIM, by the way.

Anyone else having this issue or can shed some light?

3 UK have an agreement with one of the other operators. When out of 3's own coverage it will use the other company's network. I would guess that's what you are seeing.
