Help Issues answering calls while using vehicle Aux input

I normally use my car aux input for when I had a nexus 5 for music and calls. But I noticed that when answering calls on a nexus 6, it will forget that I'm using an aux connection, and connect my call through the normal speaker. I find this really annoying when driving and I can't find a setting for this. Is anybody having this issue?

I am having this same issue too today was the first time I got a call while I was in the car and I noticed that it would not play in my car, I haven't tested weather this happens while headphone with a mic is plugged into the phone as I don't have any at the moment I have looked for a setting as well but I have come up empty handed, I am rooted so my next option is to try and use a ROM and see if that works maybe its a software issue that is about all I can think of other then maybe calling Google and our devices are defected or the port may be bad

I've heard of this but not experienced it.

My audio / nav / apps / voice - steering wheel controlled phone system in my new car, employs a Bluetooth interface.

Given the excellent build quality of the Nexus my thoughts lean towards a software issue.
