Help Issues regarding root

Hi
I've tried updating my phone to the custom 4.4 rom, but now I want to go back to Cyanogenmod.

But how do i do it?

I can't seem to access recovery, because apparently my root is gone.
I've tried numerous guides on how to root my phone, but none of them worked!

It either says:
error: device not found
or stuck on
daemon started successfully

I've tried Docomo OptimusG Root, DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit, motochopper, ZV9-JB-ROOT and some unnamed rooting methods
What am I doing wrong?

Apparently, my PC doesn't recognize my phone as soon as I switch to charge only.
In MTP I can access my files and charge my battery, but as soon as i switch to charge only, it stops charging.
