I just replaced my microSD card in order to get more memory but ever since then I've been having issues with the default camera app and Google Photos app. I've restarted the phone but same thing. Do I need to format the microSD card in the phone first?
First, when I take a photo with it set to save to the SD card, I can view the photo at first, but once I switch to the Gallery the photo is now just blank like below, and just gray in the Google Photos app. Taking photos which are saved to the internal memory works fine.
Also, I'm having issues with enabling Google Photos backup since swapping SD cards. I go in the photos, Backup & Sync, turn it on, but it never seems to recognize any of the selections I make (selecting which account, wi-fi or cellular data, photo size, etc). I've uninstalled and reinstalled the photos app, but no difference.
