Help Issues with AOl email after lollipop update

I updated to lollipop(TMOBILE) yesterday no issues with the update however, now my email kept saying that it failed to retrieve email from both account.( i also have a work email account that uses the email app this has no issues) so i remember previously that if aol fails to sync with your phone to delete and re add accounts. so i deleted and now trying to re- add the accounts and it states that authentication failed. i have check the manual setting on AOL for the direct ports and such of how to set it up with no luck. \


Any and all help greatly appreciated.

I've been having the same exact issue with AOL as of this morning around 5:30am Eastern, when I woke up. I just did a battery pull and put the battery back in and so far, 10 minutes later, it's still working. Hope this helps.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. There were issues with AOL around that day concerning email apps saying authentication failed. AOL knew about it and fixed it in a few hours so I don't think it had anything to do with the update as I already had the update way before and was having that issue with AOL and my email app. Mary
