Issues with Chrome on New Win7 Laptop

So I just got a new Samsung laptop. Upon installing chrome, I have run in to a few issues.

1. When I try to log into chrome, it will accept my email and password, but nothing will change, and I won't be signed in. This is for signing into CHROME, not google (my google sign in works just fine).

2. Some elements on google don't display. For example, the settings button on the main google page, and every single label in my inbox are all replaced by the broken picture link icon. Also, my background on google won't show, and the google logo is white, and not in color.

3. Lastly, when I go to youtube, I am able to view videos, if I am not signed in. But once I click the sign in button, it will send me to a page reading "The server's security certificate is not yet valid!"

At this point I am using Firefox to get by, but I miss all of my bookmarks and extensions on chrome. What could be causing these issues? I haven't been able to think of a common denominator that would cause all of these issues.

Let me know what info/specs you need to help me diagnose. Here's a few basics:

Samsung Laptop running 64-bit Windows 7
i7 processor, and I have Kaspersky anti-virus 2012.

Haven't changed much from default as I JUST got the computer today

Thanks in advance!

Maybe date could be incorrect, in particular is the year correct? Have you got Firefox set to ignore invalid SSL certificates?
