Issues with the Hydro Icon (it doesn't have it's own forum yet and I need help)

A few of the issues I've been having with the phone:



Not sure if this is my phone or his or jus tthe carrier, but whenever I call my boyfriend (who is also on Boost) I generally have several issues before the call actually goes through. Often times it will ring for well over the usual 30 seconds and never connect. Sometimes it will ring just a few times and fail to connect. When we get in calls, he often complains that I cut in and out and he also sometimes cuts in and out as well, to the point where we can't understand each other. This is not due to service areas.

I've also had several instances where I haven't received his calls or he hasn't received mine. This doesn't happen super often, but it happens enough to be annoying.

The internet browser app is almost unusable. When I'm reading Vice articles, it will repeatedly display a dialogue box that says something like "this page has become nonresponsive. Do you want to close it?" and I've learned that if I select "Wait" I'll be able to continue browsing and do perfectly fine, other than the fact that the box will keep popping up at LEAST every 4 seconds until I switch pages. It takes about 1 minute for this to start happening. Sometimes, it gets to the point where it stops loading pages and I have to use google chrome.

Sometimes, when I go to unlock my screen, the touch screen kind of just stops working and I have to turn the screen off and back on in order for it to work again.

Almost inevitably, if I'm using Snapchat, close out the app, then come back to it later, Snapchat will stop being able to use one or both of my cameras (if only one of them isn't working, each time I try to switch it displays a message saying something like "we can't access your camera, please restart your device" and if both aren't working they just show up entirely black). It works perfectly fine when I restart it.

I'm not sure how much of this is due to my phone, but I haven't downloaded absurd amounts of apps or anything. I really love this phone and I'd like for these problems to be addressed, and I'd also like to know if anyone else has had these issues. I'd also like to know if anyone has fixed these issues. Thanks!
 
Hi there, welcome to the forums! To be completely honest, I didn't even know this phone existed until I saw this thread so I don't know how much of a help I can be with anything device specific. As for carrier specific stuff, you said it wasn't a service area issue. Could there be work being done on towers in your area? Or it could be something about the device. If this isn't your first device with Boost, did you have issues with your previous device?
