Help Issues with wrist gestures and connections

It seems that the latest update to the watch now prevents my screen from turning on. I have ambient mode on, tried it off, reset the watch two times and still get nothing. I try doing big dramatic movements to get a display but the only way I can wake it up is by tapping the screen or clicking the button. The other thing I noticed is the display doesn't dim any when I turn my wrist down, it only times out then goes off completely. Has anyone else experienced this? Any known fixes?

Sounds like you might have a bad accelerometer. I'd strongly consider taking it back.

That's what I was afraid of but I thought it too coincidental that it stopped working right around the same time as the update. I ended up calling Moto support and they are shipping me out a replacement watch.

I actually want the option to turn that off. Driving with it makes it go bonkers.

I have turned off wrist gestures, and set it to airplane mode, but it still activates when i put my arm up and still can search for wifi and BT devices?

Ain't airplane and deactivation of wrist gestures supposed to be off and not still active?

Anyone knows?
