It just won't go past the samsung start-up screen

I'm pretty sure I didn't drop my phone and for some reason the phone will not start up correctly, and I don't know what to do. On the rare occasion that it does start up to where the screen lock pattern is shown, a window pops up and says the com android unavailable and force close and then the phone just freezes. Please help me.
