Help It says it is charging but it is not

My samsung galaxy player says it is charging but it is not.

Are you sure you have the right charger plugged into it? I should be 5v at 1 amp (1000ma). If it's a phone charger it might be too low an amperage and be charging extremely slow.

There should be a sticker on the part that plugs into the outlet with the voltage and current ratings on it.
