My trial expired and just happened to see this deal if the normal price is too high for your blood
BTW, this is the first Android app that I was induced to purchase. YMMV
Yayyyy! I just paid $3.99 for it like a week ago!

I got it for the $.99 but then I read it kept data from entering stuff and what not so uninstalled it. Too bad it was like 30 secs too late for a refund.
exactly..it's not going to use it for anything else.Yeah, I got the app a year ago and didn't install it for that reason. Finally upgraded my phone to the S3 but didn't like the Samsung keyboard, so I said what the hey and installed it. I think every keyboard app is going to have that warning. It uses the data to learn your style of typing.

Not all do the same thing. I have the ICS Keyboard and it doesn't send data off or anything. In their privacy statement it says flat out stuff gets sent to their servers.

Ah, I guess I was thinking about the reading of contacts and such. ICS doesn't learn your style from your text messages and Facebook/Twitter typing, Swiftkey does. You can choose not to use the Facebook/Twitter thing, and it only learns from texts when you tell it to scan it. Per their privacy statement:"Nothing has to be sent out to use our keyboard. You can enable it and use it and all data remains on your phone. If the app crashes, anonymous info about the crash will be sent to Google and to us.
If you choose to use cloud personalization services, you give explicit permission for our servers to process your personal message data. But this is entirely optional. The data policy for personalization services is explained in our privacy policy, at Privacy Policy from SwiftKey
Yeah I read that and assumed since it learns from your texting that it was sending info anyway. I didn't see a way to agree to or not to agree to cloud based stuff. I saw Facebook and twitter and such but that was about it.
Just saw that on Play Store, just installed the trial 3 days ago, like the pumpkin font theme.
Anyone know if Swiftkey allows for font size adjustment like A.I. Keyboard? I really like Swiftkey but the fonts are a bit small on the keyboard. I also tried the Jellybean keyboard which was ok, not sure what the hype was all about, but it worked ok. Appreciate any tips on Swiftkey font sizing if it has it. I'd purchase if so.
you can change the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the keys themselves, would this resolve your issue?
Glad I snagged it when it was Amazon's free app of the day -- you know, like when they used to give useful apps away.
