It's dead

I've finally given up trying to revive my N5.The screen is just going crazy.I can click on an app and a totally different app opens, the screen flashes random apps, pages all the time.I eventually got to reset it to factory but on personalising the phone it went into random mode again so I'm giving up on it.

My only problem now is, my moto x has issues too or at least it could be the phone or it could be my carrier grrrrrrrrrrrrr, so frustrating.

If the N5 was OK after a reset chances are it really is OK. When you 'personalized' it and the problem returned, that points to an app you installed causing trouble. Try uninstalling stuff one at a time and see if the phone straightens out.

What are the issues with the Moto X?

If the issue only returned upon re-installing apps and other personalizing actions, it's likely that something you're doing isn't quite compatible with Lollipop. If you try running it as close to bone-fresh as possible for a day or two, does it still act up?

I'd had Android L on the phone for a week or 2 without a problem and haven't downloaded any new apps.

The moto x loudspeaker only works in certain instances and the Bluetooth is hit and miss whether it connects

I just tried to factory reset it to do as instructed up ^^^^ and I can't even get it to accept my google account so this time I really do give up. Thx for trying to help.

Cheap N5 for sale.Mint condition,it just doesn't work :D

I imagine you'll have some interest from buyers then, a simple flash back to KitKat will solve the issue, a load of people are having problems with 5.0 and it all seems solved by rolling back.
