Ugh one reviewer says the Samsung is better the an other say the picture quality cant be beat on the HTC back and forth. So which is it.
some say the download rares are crazy sick on the HTC and poking along on the Samsung GSi i .Im placing my order first of next week. This will be the phone to will hold me over to my full upgrade in 2013. Does a 4.5? screen fit in your pants pocket?
Both of them stomped IPhone that was cool.

I mean whixh has better long lasting batteries for replacement, case choices, chargers and docks. I mean which is it?

Well neither stomped the the iPhone in battery life I will tell you that. My 4s just lasted 27 hours off its first charge with moderate use, no Android phone on the market will do that. Between these two though, I would go with the S2. It's easily the best of the 6 android phones I have owned.

I was going to rehash the differences, but honestly they're so equivalent that it really comes down to preference for the look of LCD vs LED, shape and feel, and the UI (especially if you're not going to flash a custom ROM). I think ou should really try to test run them both in a store or find a friend who has one so you can check it out.

no Android phone on the market will do that.

Its the screen drain, radio and the battery that determines how long the device will run for. Both OS's have a minimal impact on battery life, ergo this statement is both pointless and irrelevant.

Personally, I recommend HTC and rooting to get rid of carrier bloatware. I typically go for 18 hours of moderate use with 50% battery to spare with that approach.

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the same isn't true of the SGS2.

Besides how it looks and feels to you, which are very important, both add value to Android with their own custom skins and apps.

That is strictly a love it or hate it deal. Personally, I like the HTC Sense software quite a bit. Others feel the same towards Samsung TouchWiz. And others root and go pure Android.

So, also check out the feel of apps overall on each phone.

Yes you right the teeny tiny screen IPhone kills android on battery life. Some great points my local atmosphere store is strange If im buying they will help me in an instant. Just looking its a ghost town and just don't care they say read the specs on the sheet if you have questions. OK so how about size? These thing fit in your pocket? What about accessories? I mean my g2x was cool but no accessories at all. I mean for the longest time no docks, extra batteries, cases or holders in the car.

Well Im leaning to the Amaze for a few reasons.

1. It fits in my pocket
2. The Most incredible camera setup on a android phone.
3. HDR and 1080p HD video like I have never seen.
4. SD Card Slot I know have both, but it seems more manus are going away from this.

5. Noone calls its a big screen with a hunk a plastic stuck to the back. HTC is continually said its stylish and has metal wrapped around it and extremely well made stylish phone. Thats from like 8 different YTube videos.

6. More durable not that im a klutz or anything but the cat knocking it out of your hands or its in your lap as you get out of the car and crash.

7. Sense 3.0 is just nice but a like the idea of adjustable tiles on the touchwiz to.

8, Its in line to get ICS quickly.

9. Its been told once you turn off all the bloatware battery life is superior

10. it seems you can remove or disable more bloatware on the HTC Amaze to.

11. IT HAS A Status light on it like im soo used to and miss.

12. It seems to have better reception as well in trouble areas.

13. Faster Download speeds over all

14. HTC has great support as well.

15. Its heavier feeling and no slip grip.

16. Superior call quality and noise cancelling on it. Voice sounds natural.

17. dedicated video and camera buttons on the side of the phone so really fast shots can be taken not having to go through all the unlock sequences then touch the screen.

That about sums it up. And now for the killer link it has a great selection of accessories even some extremely capable longer life batteries without changing the covers.

So I took the plunge. HTC Amaze 4g. I called and did the EIP. I TOLD THEM I DIDNT ANT TO CHANGE MY PLAN and loose my upgrade in 2013. They said they are only doing EIP now and not upgrades every two years. So I TWEAKED my plan and saved about 40.00 a month.
