iTunes Music Converter

I currently have just over 18000 songs in my iTunes library. I have spent a good deal of times going through and rating much of it (since I rarely find entire albums that I like) so that if I just want to listen to some good music I just play my Top Rated playlist.

One of my biggest concerns was that, if I wanted to use the new Droid I plan on getting as a music player, I'd lose all of that sorting.

Luckily I found this wonderful program called:

iTunes Export

What is does is it allows you to export a playlist (or your entire library if you want) from your iTunes into multiple music file formats (it actually makes a copy of the songs).

Seeing as a few people seem to have asked for something like this I thought I'd share.

Not quite OT, but a couple of questions:

Does iTunes tolerate a mixed library? I have about 30GB of m4a files, and just inherited about 60GB of MP3's? Since I just got a droid yesterday, Ihave not yet mixed the two libraries together. Can I do this safely?

Will this program handle the export cleanly if I have a mixed library, leaving me with a directory of all MP3s for the droid?

Would it be smarter to convert the m4a to MP3s now, and set iTunes to save all future rips in MP3 format?

Or maybe this is all moot, and droid handles m4a files?

Android does M4A just fine. Some songs you bought from iTunes a year or two ago may be in the DRM M4P format, and you'll need to convert those.
