split_bootimg.pl appears to be a Perl script, assuming you are running Perl on your Windows machine. Tried to find a runtime, but no such luck, so will have to forget about this one.

instead of running away with your tails between your legs because something doesn't run natively on your system you could try googling...or, in this case...simply install perl...
ActivePerl Downloads - Perl Binaries for Windows, Linux and Mac | ActiveState
it's free....

Also...No offense to the creator of this...but I found a LOT of script related issues. I've made some corrections that make this by far more effective and gives less to the user. (Always assume the user is a moron...because 99.9% of the time they are). no offense users...your dollar makes my expensive stuff cost less! yay!

either way, if you would like my modifications I would be more than happy to give them to you. I really have no use for this app but found it intriguing either way. Peace eazy!

@rickywyatt - why do you claim that you have made a "kitchen" for cooking boot.img's when you use someone elses perl scripts? you wrote a very poor script based off of someone elses tutorial. and you give no references or kudos to the people you stole the script from! I am completely re-writing and re-vamping and upgrading your futile attempt at this. but...at least you tried...i suppose. in the future, give credit where it is due!
