Does anybody know of any icon set that uses kanji? I think they are so aesthetically pleasing that it would make a really cool icon set. As long as some wise guy doesn't make it say "Americans are stupid" when you think it says "internet" or something... If one hasn't already been made, then that's my suggestion...

Japanese seldom use Kanji for words imported from foreign languages. Instead, they use Katakana, English or combination.
For example,
Internet = ネット
Apps = アプリ
Google = Google
Android = Android
Play Music = Play ミュージック
I think Chinese use Chinese character (the origin of Japanese Kanji) for words imported from foreign languages though.
