I recently started having trouble with Japanese text messages (kanji etc). Some messages show the Japanese as question marks instead of Japanese. Not all messages - some display Japanese OK.
My phone (S3) did not used to do this and I'm not sure what changed. I've looked for settings in the messaging app and the text input tool (using Google Japanese Input) but I don't see a setting that is helpful.
Any advice?
