Jawbone UP vs Fitbit Force

I'll be testing these two for the next month. Lots of people have asked me which one is better so it's time to decide for myself. For those of you who already made the decision, I'm curious why you may have picked one or the other.

Automatic syncing is one reason people picked Fitbit over Jawbone, but the UP 24 recently added this feature.

Which would/did you pick: Jawbone or Fitbit?

Settled for the Fitbit Flex. I was already using the MyFitnessPal App and it actually syncs to the FitBit app. I only have to add my food, water, weight in MyFitnessPal and it pushs it to FitBit. It has a better calorie catalog than the FitBit app does plus you can scan the barcodes and it brings up the product and calories.

I do like the syncing which I have set to both of my phones (bluetooth) and my WiFi at home.

OT: Looks like Garmin has released their vivofit fitness band with a 1 yr battery life.

I have the UP24. It syncs with several fitness apps and can sync with Lose It! for food tracking. I like that it tracks my activity and provides feedback on achievement, etc. It was amazing to see that I had walked 50,000 steps.....

I love the fact that UP's companion app is as intuitive as it is. If I'm using a fitness tracker, it makes sense that I need a good way of reading that data. And that thing delivers.

I love the UP software but the bands don't have great build quality to me. I had an UP (original) which was replaced once. I then went to the UP24 and this was replaced 3 times. These were replaced because they just died, stopped working. I now have an UP Move and every once in awhile synching gets lost and have to reconnect. I debated on the UP3 but hesitating due to the experiences I had with the previous bands. I purchased the Microsoft Band to try that out. Appears loaded with tech and lots of great reviews. Yes its a little bulky, but I don't mind bulky.
